Recently, our Kiwanis Club decided to do a service project with an assisted living facility here in Indianapolis. We all got together during a meeting and made all the residents some Valentines and put together some fun Candy Gifts as well.
But in talking with the Activities Director there, we also found out that they could truly benefit from receiving book donations for the residents to read.
BOOKS!!!!???? We can do books!
So we put together a tub of books donated by the club members and took those with us as well! They were truly excited!!
